Position: Maintenance Technician
Compensation: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational integrity of the facility, surrounding grounds, and equipment. This position is vital for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-functioning environment for all personnel and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute a range of skilled tasks related to the upkeep and repair of the facility, grounds, and machinery.
- Perform various maintenance and repair tasks including refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as relevant state and federal regulations, including OSHA, USDA, and FDA standards.
- Conduct skilled maintenance and repair operations on forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Support the supervisor in identifying needs and procuring supplies for maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records pertinent to the Maintenance Department.
- Exhibit regular, consistent, and punctual attendance in line with company policy.
- Carry out sanitation tasks within the facility as required.
- Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
Must possess a valid driver's license.
