Job Overview

Position: Maintenance Technician

Compensation: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational integrity of the facility, surrounding grounds, and equipment. This position is vital for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-functioning environment for all personnel and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Execute a range of skilled tasks related to the upkeep and repair of the facility, grounds, and machinery.
  2. Perform various maintenance and repair tasks including refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical work.
  3. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as relevant state and federal regulations, including OSHA, USDA, and FDA standards.
  4. Conduct skilled maintenance and repair operations on forklifts and pallet jacks.
  5. Support the supervisor in identifying needs and procuring supplies for maintenance tasks.
  6. Maintain accurate records pertinent to the Maintenance Department.
  7. Exhibit regular, consistent, and punctual attendance in line with company policy.
  8. Carry out sanitation tasks within the facility as required.
  9. Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

Must possess a valid driver's license.
