Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician II is a key member of the engineering team at Great Wolf Resorts, responsible for overseeing day-to-day engineering operations in the lodge. This includes project management, general life safety, ordering, and working with vendors. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing preventative maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel guestrooms, public spaces, equipment, buildings, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on all types of equipment, including plumbing, electrical equipment, and other guestroom items.
  • Assure daily activities and problems are communicated to other shifts using approved communication programs and standards.
  • Ensure all work performed is conducted in a safe and timely manner, adhering to standards of safety and effective equipment utilization.
  • Maintain working knowledge of departmental safety procedures and attend safety-training programs as required.
  • Maintain necessary service records on mechanical and structural systems.
  • Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed for park operation, employee relations, timekeeping, and safety.
Requirements
  • Technical degree or equivalent experience.
  • Technical training or certifications in HVAC and/or electrical.
  • Trade-related certifications preferred.
  • Experience in hospitality, healthcare, or related industries.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Computer skills, including knowledge of database software, internet software, order processing systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Valid driver's license.
