Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair both mechanical and electrical components of refrigeration systems.
  • Travel to various job sites and coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Adapt to varying work schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and overtime to meet customer emergency needs.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of parts, tools, and safety equipment in the service vehicle.
  • Diagnose a wide range of service issues, procure necessary replacement parts, calibrate systems according to manufacturer specifications, and clearly communicate issues and solutions to customers.
  • Provide detailed quotes for necessary repairs and maintenance to office staff for customer approval.
  • Engage in company-sponsored training to stay updated on the latest industry technologies.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, preventative measures, and thorough cleaning for clients.

Qualifications:

  • Mandatory: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Mandatory: At least 3 years of technical/mechanical experience.
  • Mandatory: At least 3 years of electrical experience.
  • Mandatory: EPA certification.
  • Mandatory: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, capable of interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong organizational abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
