Job OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Express Refrigeration Inc. in Sacramento, CA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, diagnosing, maintaining, replacing, and repairing mechanical and electrical aspects of refrigeration equipment.Responsibilities
  • Install, diagnose, and repair refrigeration equipment, including walk-ins, reach-ins, and ice machines.
  • Travel to job sites in the service area and work with dispatch to ensure schedules are maintained and delays are communicated to customers.
  • Work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and overtime, to service emergency needs of customers.
  • Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
  • Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain replacement parts, calibrate systems to manufacturer's recommendations, and explain the issue and necessary corrections to customers.
  • Participate in company-provided training opportunities on the latest industry technologies.
  • Provide routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, and deep cleaning to customers.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of technical/mechanical experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of electrical experience.
  • EPA certification.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail, with ability to interpret manuals and schematics.
  • Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and respond to changes in priorities.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and set priorities.
