Job Summary

The Centerpoint Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated OR Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for assisting in the care of patients, equipment, and supplies during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the OR team in maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
  • Anticipate and respond to the needs of the surgeon and surgical team.
  • Ensure quality patient care during surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Certified Operating Room Technicians (CORT).
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire.
  • 3 years of experience as an OR Technician I or equivalent.
