Nurse Practitioner

We're seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at ChenMed, a leading healthcare provider dedicated to transforming the lives of seniors and improving healthcare outcomes. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of changing America's healthcare for the better.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in medical centers, nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities, and home settings, assessing acute and non-acute clinical problems and developing patient management plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to analyze and evaluate current healthcare delivery systems, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing new practice patterns as needed.
- Participate in clinical rounds and conferences, communicating patient management strategies to team members and ensuring successful patient care outcomes.
- Recognize situations requiring immediate physician attention and initiate life-saving procedures when necessary.
- Use advanced communication skills to problem-solve complex situations and improve patient care processes.
- ARNP or similar advanced degree in Nursing required.
- Current Nurse Practitioner Certification in the State of practice required.
- Board certification by AANP or ANCC preferred but may be required for certain States.
- A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred, but willing to consider strong new graduates.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AMA) or American Red Cross required within the first 90 days of employment.
