Transportation Engineer

We are seeking a talented Transportation Engineer to join our team at Mott MacDonald. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for developing conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs for transportation projects. You will also attend site inspections, investigations, and monitoring, and actively participate in project, client, and team meetings.
Your responsibilities will include reviewing, preparing, and modifying designs, analyzing reports, specifications, and studies, and gaining exposure to project, commercial, and client management. You will also be expected to undertake a 'digital by default' approach in deliverables and actively participate in our Early Careers Professionals Network.
We are looking for candidates with a genuine passion to create sustainable social outcomes for our communities and a desire to strive for excellence. If you have a bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, or a related field, with a focus on transportation from an accredited university, and a methodical approach to problem solving, excellent verbal communication skills, and excellent technical written communication and attention to detail, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs for transportation projects
- Attend site inspections, investigations, and monitoring
- Actively participate in project, client, and team meetings
- Review, prepare, and modify designs
- Analyze reports, specifications, and studies
- Gain exposure to project, commercial, and client management
- Undertake a 'digital by default' approach in deliverables

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, or a related field, with a focus on transportation from an accredited university
- Methodical approach to problem solving
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent technical written communication and attention to detail
Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: $74,000 - $78,000
