Job Title

As a skilled Mechanical Design Specialist, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative mechanical components for RC Mowers' game-changing products. Your work will shape designs that are practical, manufacturable, and cost-effective, bringing bold ideas to life through prototyping and testing.

About the Role:
  • Develop mechanical components for robotic mowers, working closely with design engineers and production teams.
  • Create 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks, ensuring seamless communication across departments.
  • Optimize designs for manufacturability, performance, and cost-efficiency, considering real-world applications.
  • Participate in design reviews, providing actionable insights to enhance product designs.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure successful prototyping, testing, and production.
  • Assemble prototypes and conduct rigorous testing of mechanical and electrical systems, documenting results and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Maintain engineering documentation and create clear user-facing technical materials.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design and development.
  • Expertise in designing and detailing sheet metal components, weldments, and assemblies.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and PDM.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics, and perform basic calculations.
  • Hands-on experience with hand and power tools for prototype assembly and testing.
  • Effective communication skills to articulate technical concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with outdoor power equipment, robotics, or construction machinery is highly desirable.
Compensation:$110,000 - $140,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.About RC Movers:
