Job Summary:

The Pediatrician will serve as the clinical champion for PCMH at French Broad Pediatrics, supervising and directing all clinical and non-clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care.

The Pediatrician will be responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care to all French Broad Pediatric patients, whether in the office or in the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct all clinical and non-clinical staff
  • Deliver comprehensive patient care to all French Broad Pediatric patients
  • Lead the Care Team and participate in ongoing Quality Improvement Evaluation and Practice Performance measures
  • Participate in ongoing training in population management
  • Maintain board certification in the American Academy of Pediatrics
  • Remain in good standing and keep admitting, CME, and all other privileges at Mission Hospital
  • Remain up to date in chart documentation in Athena Health
  • Work with the Practice Manager to achieve a harmonious working environment in the office
  • Provide excellent care for all patients at FBP by utilizing evidence-based guidelines
  • Motivate patients and their families to carry out suitable and safe self-care management
  • Provide self-management guidance to patients
  • Remain a source of guidance and information for the clinical team
  • Create and implement all standing orders for the clinical and non-clinical staff
  • Work with the Practice Manager to ensure that Athena Health metrics are working and able to gather population management information

Requirements:
Currently licensed to practice medicine in the state of North Carolina. Pediatric Fellowship.
