Job Title: Floor Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team at St. John's Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our Environmental Services team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain assigned areas, including floors, walls, and surfaces, to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Operate and maintain specialized equipment, such as floor machines and cleaning solutions, to ensure effective cleaning and sanitizing.
  • Restock supplies and materials as needed to maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
  • Document and report any issues or concerns related to cleaning and maintenance, including hazardous conditions or equipment malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless and efficient cleaning and maintenance operations.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and patients.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies, as well as stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
