We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team as a Lead MRI Technologist at Northwest Health Services. As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to patients and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Operate MRI Equipment: Safely and effectively operate magnetic resonance scanners to obtain high-quality images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.
- Select Imaging Techniques: Select the most appropriate imaging techniques and operate console and peripheral hardware to ensure optimal image quality.
- Manage Patient Data: Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images from disk to magnetic media, and develop film in an automatic processor.
- Lead and Collaborate: Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, perform a variety of tasks, and work under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required, and you will typically report to a chief technologist or manager.
- Patient Interaction: Obtain patient history, explain standard procedures, and address patient concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Scan Variety: Perform a variety of anatomical MRI scans, including CT and X-Ray experience preferred.
- CALL Requirements: Taking CALL is required for this position.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Certifications: Requires MRI registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.).
- Skills: Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. X-Ray and/or CT experience preferred.
