Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead MRI Technologist to manage and operate our 3-Tesla Siemens Magnetom Cima.X Magnetic Resonance Scanner. The successful candidate will provide high-quality images of research study participants and MRI recipients for research and clinical diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and a strong knowledge of medical imaging techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the 3-Tesla Siemens Magnetom Cima.X Magnetic Resonance Scanner to provide high-quality images of research study participants and MRI recipients.
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations based on scan results.
  • Collaborate with researchers and healthcare professionals to develop and implement MRI protocols.
  • Ensure MRI safety and maintain current licensing and certifications.
  • Interact with MRI recipients, families, and others in a professional and caring manner.
Requirements
  • Qualified as an MRI Technologist (ARRT approved MRI Certification, or ARRT approved MRI Certification within six months of hire for new grads).
  • BLS Certification (or within three months of hire for new grads) through American Heart Association.
  • Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License.
  • Graduate of a formal radiology technology training program from an AMA approved school.
  • At least one year training experience with high field magnetic resonance system.
  • Experience with operating Siemens MRI systems for research and/or clinical applications.
  • Ability to perform Neuro Studies, MSK Studies, Abdominal Imaging, Pediatric Imaging, Chest Imaging (Non Cardiac).
  • Flexibility in scheduling, ability to rotate shifts as well as coverage for weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in MRI related field preferred.
  • At least four years of experience in Radiology and two years experience in MRI.
  • Recent work experience in an acute care setting.
  • MRSO.
  • Participation in clinical trials and implementation of MRI biomarkers.
