About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Roers Companies LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the comfort, safety, and happiness of our residents by performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upkeep of our multifamily apartment buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and adjustments to electrical, plumbing, and appliance systems.
  • Participate in cleaning and painting during unit turns to ensure a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Respond to emergency calls after hours and on weekends as part of our on-call rotation.
  • Communicate effectively with property managers, maintenance managers, and residents to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the maintenance team and ensure the smooth operation of our properties.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in property maintenance, preferably in an apartment maintenance setting.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with a diverse range of people.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings, as part of our on-call rotation.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for problem-solving and a willingness to take on new challenges.
  • High integrity, with a strong sense of trust, directness, and truthfulness.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 75 pounds, climbing multiple flights of stairs, and working at heights.
