Job Summary
This role involves providing direct patient care, monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, and educating patients on kidney dialysis-related topics. As a Healthcare Technician Leader, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse and be part of a cross-functional team of clinicians, including technicians, nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing dialysis treatment
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
  • Educate patients on kidney dialysis-related topics, such as medication management and lifestyle adjustments
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Perform routine tasks, such as setting up dialysis machines and preparing equipment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • No prior experience necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing situations
  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic medical records
