About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Gynecologist to join our thriving medical group in Connecticut. As a Gynecologist with our team, you will have the opportunity to provide medical care related to the female reproductive system, examining patients and obtaining medical histories, screening for breast, cervix, and ovarian cancers, and treating patients for urinary tract and pelvic disorders, hormonal disorders, and sexually transmitted diseases.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical care to patients, including routine check-ups, screenings, and treatments.
- Examine patients and obtain medical histories to diagnose and treat various gynecological conditions.
- Screen patients for breast, cervix, and ovarian cancers, and develop treatment plans accordingly.
- Treat patients for urinary tract and pelvic disorders, hormonal disorders, and sexually transmitted diseases.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
- Create treatment plans and initiate referrals to specialists and hospital programs as needed.
- Ensure proper patient documentation is timely, accurate, and complete.
- Work with Practice Management to ensure proper compliance with billing and coding.
- Promote wellness and health education to patients and the community.
- Provide quality supervision of Medical Assistants (MAs), Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Physician Assistants (PAs), and other clinical staff at the site.
