Adjunct Faculty

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Logistics and Supply Chain Management courses on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals and providing effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi provided by the School.
Key Responsibilities- Perform all instructional duties necessary to teach and facilitate student learning in assigned classes.
- Provide syllabus appropriate to course(s) being taught to students and follows syllabus content and requirements.
- Maintain student attendance and grading records according to College policy as outlined in the Adjunct Handbook.
- Submits requested information within established timelines.
- Is available to students outside scheduled class time to answer questions/provide assistance.
- Deal with student concerns and, if necessary, consult with program coordinator to resolve issues.
- Meet all scheduled classes of contracted course(s).
- Use technology such as Blackboard, PowerPoint, etc. as appropriate.
- In event of emergency absence, notifies program/department chair.
- Conduct all activities with an appreciation and respect for diversity of people, styles, and views.
The successful candidate must have a strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to the area of instruction and meet the program standard through one of four routes:
- Possesses an earned master's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution, in logistics, supply chain management, or a logistics-supply chain related field as appropriate to the program.
- Possesses an earned related or out-of-field master's degree, from a regionally accredited institution, with documented 18 post-secondary semester hours or equivalent of courses beyond the introductory principle(s) level in logistics, supply chain management, or a logistics-supply chain-related field as appropriate to the program.
- Possesses an earned related or out-of-field master's degree, from a regionally accredited institution, with documentation in two or more of the following:
- Professional certification (national, regional or state)
- Two years of in-field professional employment
- Documented evidence of teaching excellence, including date of award
- Documentation of research and publication in the field
- Documented relevant additional coursework beyond the bachelor's degree, equivalent to 18 semester hours or equivalent subject matter coursework, CEU's, vendor, or military
- Professional certification (national, regional, or state) in the field
- Two years of in-field professional employment
- Documented evidence of teaching excellence, including date of award
- Documentation of research and publication in the field
- Documented relevant additional coursework beyond the bachelor's degree, equivalent to 18 semester hours or equivalent subject matter coursework, CEU's, vendor, or military
