Overview

Azalea Orthopedics, a division of OrthoLoneStar, is a leading orthopedic practice in Texas. We are seeking an experienced part-time Orthopedic Healthcare Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with physicians to provide expert guidance on orthopedic patient care.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans for patients with lower extremity issues, including foot and ankle problems.
  • Diligently document patient encounters, ensuring accurate and concise records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and questions promptly.
  • Manage pre-certifications for tests, procedures, and treatments as required by insurance providers.
  • Complete disability forms, orders, and ABNs in a timely manner.
  • Assist in maintaining efficiency, quality, and adherence to patient and physician schedules.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
  • Knowledge of federal HIPAA regulations and practice policies.
