Clinical Orthopedic Specialist

At W.B. Carrell Memorial Clinic, Associated, we are seeking a part-time Clinical Orthopedic Specialist to join our team. This role offers an estimated annual salary of $115,000.
Clinical Duties:
* Collaborate with physicians to receive guidance and instruction for orthopedic patient care.
* Assess and provide tailored treatment plans for orthopedic patients.
* Accurately document patient encounters in a clear, concise, and precise manner.
* Implement lower extremity treatment (to include foot and ankle) plans, as directed by the physician.
* Serve as a communication bridge between the physician and patient, ensuring patient questions and concerns are addressed promptly.
* Obtain pre-certifications from insurance for tests, procedures, and treatments as necessary.
* Complete disability forms, orders, and ABNs.
* Assist or perform tasks that ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to both patient and physician schedules.
* Adhere to federal HIPAA regulations and practice policies to maintain the privacy and security of patient information.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
