KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS
  • Serve as the company representative to our existing clients.
  • Oversee management of ongoing projects, including the creation of submittals, work plans, and all reporting, while being accountable for project P&Ls and payroll certification documentation.
  • Coordinate with engineering and field teams to review production schedules and confirm all materials.
  • Collaborate with the General Foreman to ensure safe, efficient, and effective adherence to the job work plan and scope.
  • Develop estimates by reviewing drawings, specifications, conducting site visits, and participating in subcontractor reviews and scope development meetings.
  • Achieve construction objectives by scheduling and communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Meet construction operational standards by developing plans and schedules.
  • Ensure construction financial standards are met by providing budget information, monitoring expenditures, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Prepare construction projects by verifying estimates, project drawings, and specifications; establishing and disseminating schedules; awarding contracts; and specifying materials and supplies.
  • Complete construction projects by directing construction requirements, comparing results to plans, and resolving issues.
  • Collaborate effectively with Project Managers and assist on current projects with all related materials and equipment orders.
  • Provide construction progress reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing construction and budget data and trends.
  • Avoid legal challenges by understanding and enforcing regulations; recommending new procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • 5 years of verifiable field experience (a combination of field and office experience is acceptable).
  • Thorough knowledge of current electrical codes, standards, and practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings.
  • Comprehensive understanding of job site safety requirements and OSHA standards and practices.
  • Proven computer proficiency with a strong aptitude for technical applications (proficient in MS Office, Google applications, project management software such as ESub and Procore, Adobe, and the ability to learn and operate new software. Experience with Bluebeam is a plus).
