Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our clinical care team at Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with providers, and contribute to the overall success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide in-office nursing care, including patient triage, immunization administration, and supervision
- Assist with procedures and oversee the duties of the Medical Assistant
- Oversee the rooming of patients, including obtaining health histories, updating medication lists, and ensuring rooms are clean and stocked
- Support providers in their care for patients, including specialty-specific procedures and providing injections or treatments as ordered
- Perform patient summary visit discharge, ensuring patients are educated about medications, provider orders, and follow-up
- Triage patients in the clinic and assist with scheduling patients who need to be seen by the care team provider
- Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state where nursing practice will occur or multistate license in nurse's resident state
- Two years of nursing experience in an outpatient clinic, preferred
- Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association within six (6) months from date of hire
- Waived copays for most medical, behavioral health, and pharmacy prescriptions at any CHC location
