Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying, supporting, customizing, and maintaining a suite of commercial and open source applications used by Software and Systems Engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and Deploy Software: Configure, deploy, and administer commercial and open source SW Factory software.
  • Develop Code: Develop code to aid in administration of the SW Factory.
  • Provide End User Support: Provide end user support to SW Factory suite of applications.
  • Monitor and Resolve Incidents: Monitor, address, and resolve production SW Factory application incidents and reports.
  • Interfacing with Development Teams: Interfacing, collaboratively, with other development and administration teams inside of Corporate.
  • Maintain Technical Expertise: Maintain strong expertise and knowledge of current and emerging technologies and products.
  • Provide Best Practice Guidance: Provide best practice, recommendations, and guidance to manage SW factory operations at scale.
Requirements
  • Education: Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related STEM discipline with at least 2 years of experience or a Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related STEM discipline with 0 years of experience.
  • Experience: Must have experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to work well in a virtual team environment, with team members located throughout the country.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to multitask, and juggle more than one task at a time.
  • Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance (or the ability to obtain one) and ability to obtain Special Program Access.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical foundation in several of the following technologies: Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub, Gitlab, SonarQube, Nexus Repository Lifecycle and Firewall, Atlassian (Crowd, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Fisheye, and Crucible).
  • Administration Experience: Administration experience with Postgres.
  • Security Certification: CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • AWS Experience: AWS console administration experience.
Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $75,300 - $130,800.
