Responsibilities:


We are seeking dedicated Safety and Security Specialists to join our expanding team. You should be committed to ensuring the safety of patients, visitors, and staff, possess a keen attention to detail, and enjoy collaborating with a dynamic group.

This role can serve as a stepping stone for those interested in a long-term career in law enforcement, providing valuable hands-on experience that aligns with both your immediate and future career goals.


Qualifications:

Experience and Education Minimum Requirements:
A High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (GED), or completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate is required.

A minimum of 1 year of experience in law enforcement, security, military, or a related field is required.

A valid California Driver's License and a driving record acceptable to Community Health System is necessary, with no convictions related to driving offenses within the last seven (7) years.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.

A State of California Guard Card is mandatory.

OC (Pepper) Spray Endorsement must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer into the position.
