Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to assist with the receipt and processing of donations at our thrift store location. As a Donation Attendant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized donation area, assisting donors, and supporting the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the donation area, including cleaning and organizing the space, and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
  • Assist donors with the receipt of donated items, providing excellent customer service and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Sort and separate donations into the proper containers, and stack materials as instructed by the supervisor.
  • Assist with loading donations onto trucks as needed, and ensure the donation trailer/pod is secure and locked at the end of each shift.
  • Inform the supervisor of needed items prior to running out, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
  • Ability to grasp, push, pull objects up to 75lbs. with or without assistance.
  • Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
Qualifications:
  • High School or Equivalent or better.
