Job Title: School Psychologist

At Soliant, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the educational experience of students through effective assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators and parents.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students to determine eligibility for special education services.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Provide direct counseling services to students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies for improving student outcomes.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and make recommendations for services and interventions.
  • Conduct crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid California state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting preferred.
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to special education.
