About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in providing quality patient care in a patient-focused, technically appropriate, and cost-effective manner.
  • Establish and maintain a sterile field, a safe patient care environment, and appropriate supplies/equipment as required for the operative procedure.
  • Function as a cooperative healthcare team member in a critical care environment, treating patients with dignity and respect.
  • Participate in the education and training of other team members, sharing knowledge and expertise in a supportive and educational manner.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to improve patient satisfaction, productivity, and cost containment.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or GED completion of CST program.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technician.
  • Good communication skills and ability to independently perform scrub duties.
