Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team in Park Ridge, Illinois.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the surgical field and supplies/instruments for procedures.
  • Assist in emergency situations and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide a cooperative work environment.
  • Responsible for compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Maintain professional growth and development.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of scrub experience (preferred)
  • High school graduate or GED
  • Completion of ST program in an accredited school approved by NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting)
  • CPR certification
  • CST Certification approved by NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting)
Working Conditions
  • May be exposed to hazardous materials and life-threatening disease and radiation
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to cooperate and work well with others
