Position Summary:
The Vascular Institute of Virginia (VIV) stands as a premier healthcare provider with numerous outpatient centers focused on delivering minimally invasive solutions for a variety of medical conditions. Our commitment to exceptional patient care, cutting-edge procedures, and a cooperative work atmosphere distinguishes us within the healthcare sector. We are actively looking for Clinical Nurses at various tiers for Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem roles.

Clinical Nurse - Entry Level:

  • Completion of an accredited nursing program with either an Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN).
  • Current RN licensure in Virginia.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
  • Competent in computer skills for managing data.
  • Outstanding communication and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to effectively delegate tasks.

Clinical Nurse - Intermediate Level:

  • Fulfillment of all Entry Level requirements.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Robust analytical skills for effective problem resolution.
  • A minimum of 2 years of RN experience is preferred.

Clinical Nurse - Advanced Level:

  • Meets the criteria for both Entry and Intermediate Levels.
  • Proficient in managing high-pressure situations.
  • Expanded responsibilities including involvement in educational initiatives and quality enhancement projects.
  • Serves as a preceptor and mentor for new staff members.
  • Prior experience in critical care, emergency room, cardiac, or catheterization lab settings is preferred.
