The RoleWe're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain production and quality by ensuring the operation of machinery, building mechanical equipment, and systems. This role requires a strong focus on preventative maintenance, problem-solving, and mechanical expertise.
Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment, including motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
- Identify and troubleshoot problems by observing machinery in operation, analyzing test results, and reviewing machine error messages.
- Examine parts for defects, remove defective parts, and adjust functional parts of devices.
- Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts and fabricate repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
- Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories and provide mechanical maintenance information to colleagues.
- Journeyman's certification is required.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- 6+ years of industrial equipment maintenance experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, PLCs, and PCs is preferred.
