Key Responsibilities:


Respond to breakdowns, perform servicing, and conduct installations on various industrial cleaning equipment within a one-hour radius of your location.

Utilize manual hand tools (spanners, screwdrivers), electrical hand tools (powered drills, grinders), lifting equipment (lifting slings, hoists), and hot working tools (blowtorches, heat guns)
Conduct electrical, electronic, and mechanical diagnostics and repairs on industrial cleaning machinery, including IG Engines (Petrol, Diesel, LPG).
Effectively manage your time to ensure high-quality work is completed promptly.
Maintain job reports and order parts as needed.
Adhere to Health & Safety protocols.

Candidate Requirements:
Experience in electrical, mechanical fault finding, repair, and service is preferred.

A solid understanding of electrical or mechanical systems; similar roles may include plant engineer, maintenance engineer, hydraulic engineer, pneumatic engineer, or mechanical fitter.

Relevant qualifications such as NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering are advantageous but not mandatory.
Experience with electrical and mechanical tools is essential.
Previous experience as a mechanical, electrical, or field-based engineer is beneficial. Experience with industrial batteries, IC engines, or industrial floor cleaning equipment is a plus.
Must possess a full UK driving license.
