Banner Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team in Tucson, Arizona.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate RN to provide high-quality patient care in our fast-paced Emergency Department. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the development of our nursing practice.
Responsibilities:- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the physical, emotional, and educational needs of patients and families.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and healthcare team members to promote health literacy and patient engagement.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Arizona.
- 2+ years of experience in Emergency Department nursing or a related field.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
