AI/ML Modeling and Analysis Specialist

About the Position
At Tulk LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Modeling and Analysis Specialist to join our team. This is a senior-level position that requires expertise in AI Assurance, testing and evaluation of AI models, and experience with explainable AI (XAI) and independent verification & validation methodologies.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field, and at least 12 years of relevant experience in AI engineering, including experience with automation, augmentation, and artificial intelligence technologies. They will be proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, Matlab, R, and Java.
Responsibilities
- Conduct gap analysis and identify implications of AI and machine learning in defense and security applications.
- Lead Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), Design of Experiments (DoE), Course of Actions (CoA), Trade Studies, and Engineering Assessments.
- Provide technical advisory support for identifying capability gaps, tools, technologies, and agile methods in AI research and development.
- Analyze and automate existing systems, reviewing cloud service capabilities and workflow for enhancements.
- Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to ensure AI model assurance.
- Assist in developing AI Assurance capabilities, including eXplainable AI (XAI) and Independent Verification & Validation methodologies (IV&V).
- Collaborate with leaders, scientists, engineers, and contractors for advancing corporate AI strategies centered around Verified-AI (IV&V) and XAI.
Requirements
- US Citizenship and Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI) Security Clearance.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related STEM degree program, or equivalent senior-level experience as an MS&A Engineer.
- Demonstrated experience in AI Assurance, T&E or V&V-As-a-Service, and XAI.
- Demonstrated experience providing engineering solutions using Automation, Augmentation, and Artificial Intelligence technologies.
- Proficiency in computer programming languages such as Python, C++, Matlab, R, Java.
- Understanding of IV&V and the T&E status quo for AI models.
