Catering Supervisor

Position Summary: We are currently seeking a full-time Catering Supervisor to oversee catering operations and ensure that all events are executed flawlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate catering staff schedules to guarantee timely delivery, service, and cleanup of all functions.
- Prepare and serve food at scheduled events under the guidance of the Catering Director.
- Deliver food and beverages to catered functions as needed.
Essential Duties:
- Assess workload requirements based on catering orders.
- Engage with function group leaders to discuss setup arrangements and address any last-minute changes.
- Interact with clients and resolve any complaints in a professional manner.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of menu items.
- Instruct staff on work expectations for catered events.
- Assist staff in setting up rooms according to specifications.
- Assemble and deliver food and supplies to designated locations.
- Serve food and beverages to guests while ensuring proper presentation and portion control.
- Return food, beverages, and serving equipment to the catering facility.
- Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with food preparation standards and safety regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A valid driver's license may be required.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit as required by state law.
