Position Summary: We are currently seeking a full-time Catering Supervisor to oversee catering operations and ensure that all events are executed flawlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate catering staff schedules to guarantee timely delivery, service, and cleanup of all functions.
  • Prepare and serve food at scheduled events under the guidance of the Catering Director.
  • Deliver food and beverages to catered functions as needed.

Essential Duties:

  • Assess workload requirements based on catering orders.
  • Engage with function group leaders to discuss setup arrangements and address any last-minute changes.
  • Interact with clients and resolve any complaints in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of menu items.
  • Instruct staff on work expectations for catered events.
  • Assist staff in setting up rooms according to specifications.
  • Assemble and deliver food and supplies to designated locations.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests while ensuring proper presentation and portion control.
  • Return food, beverages, and serving equipment to the catering facility.
  • Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with food preparation standards and safety regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A valid driver's license may be required.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit as required by state law.
