We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Dayton Freight. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers' needs are met.

About the Role

In this role, you will be working closely with our Service Center Manager and Account Managers to ensure seamless customer service. You will assist customers with various inquiries, including freight pickup requests, rate quotes, and shipment tracing.

Your exceptional communication and problem-solving skills will enable you to provide top-notch support to our customers. You will also have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and utilize your skills to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with freight pickup requests, rate quotes, and shipment tracing
  • Work closely with the Service Center Manager and Account Managers to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Provide timely and accurate information to customers regarding their shipments
  • Maintain excellent communication with external and internal customers, as well as interline companies
