Job Overview:

Global Partners LP is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in the management of day-to-day store operations, while adhering to Global Partners' policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the General Manager in managing store operations, including supervising non-exempt employees, monitoring cash handling and inventory, and maintaining business records.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve store performance, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve business objectives, including sales growth, customer retention, and operational efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for all guests.
  • Manage cash management procedures, including bank deposits and change orders.
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation, ensuring a safe and secure store environment.
  • Engage in all company promotional initiatives, promoting a high level of guest service and driving business results.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a retail or fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and make quick decisions.
  • Ability to communicate, count, read, and write accurately.
  • Ability to perform basic computer functions.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in intermittent temperatures and lift up to 25 pounds during a shift.
