As a member of our Project Heal trauma psychology program, you will work with children and families who have experienced traumatic events, providing psychotherapeutic services and support.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with acutely complex needs, employing evidence-based psychological treatment interventions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, working closely with patients and their families.
- Provide case management services as needed, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
- Support the facilitation of groups, promoting a sense of community and connection among patients and families.
- Collaborate with other team members to enhance access to services and support partnerships with external organizations.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Psychology.
- Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
- Training and experience in treating youth and families who have experienced traumatic events.
- Valid California Driver's License and proof of insurance required for positions requiring field-based services.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Bilingual or bicultural staff are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Experience working in healthcare settings and with children, adolescents, and families.
- Training in trauma-informed evidence-based practices (TF-CBT) highly preferred.
