Your Role

In this position, you will collaborate with fellow designers and researchers, ensuring that the end user remains the focal point of our initiatives. Your efforts will contribute to delivering exceptional digital experiences for both our associates and clients.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in UX or a related field is preferred.
- A degree in Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience, Usability Engineering, Experimental Psychology, or a related discipline, or equivalent education and training.
- Experience in agile environments delivering value in digital products is desirable.
- Background in the financial sector or similar industries is a plus.

Skills:
- Proficient in a variety of qualitative and quantitative research techniques, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, task analysis, contextual inquiries, ethnographic studies, and card sorting.
- Ability to create, assess, and refine user models (personas, scenarios, profiles).
- Skilled in conducting heuristic evaluations, accessibility assessments, and usability testing of applications, providing actionable recommendations for enhancements.
- Strong communication skills as a writer, presenter, and facilitator, comfortable engaging with both technical teams and executives.
- Capable of developing post-project executive summaries, retrospectives, and follow-up actions.
- Solid understanding of web and mobile development principles.
- Collaborate with other researchers and designers to identify and address customer challenges.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative feedback to identify recurring themes and support data-driven design choices.
- An innate curiosity to explore underlying reasons behind user behaviors.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the definition of research initiatives and deliver business outcomes across multiple product teams with minimal oversight.
- Plan, execute, and analyze user research studies, adaptable across desktop and mobile platforms.
- Work with stakeholders to establish and refine research objectives, ensuring alignment with strategic, business, and user goals.
- Partner closely with UX strategists, designers, and fellow researchers to provide research insights and support during workshops and ongoing UX activities.
- Interpret qualitative and quantitative data from web analytics and user research to formulate actionable recommendations at both project and portfolio levels.
- Provide rapid prototyping support to communicate concepts and design recommendations based on research findings.


Synthesize research data, summarize findings, and present results to management and project teams for both strategic and project-level insights.
- Collaborate with product owners to inform product strategy.
- Work across the organization to foster consistent customer experiences.
- Contribute to the culture of the Digital Workplace Experience Chapter Area, focusing on user research and UX design.
- Provide thought leadership in research and product development.
