Job Overview

Malace HR is seeking a skilled Clean Room Technician/Custodian to join our team at a pharmaceutical site in Frederick, MD.

We are looking for candidates with experience in a cleanroom environment or those who are eager to learn and possess leadership skills.

The site operates on a rotating 3 days on, 3 days off schedule, with two shifts per day, each lasting 12.5 hours.

Compensation is competitive, with rates varying based on position and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure a sterile environment in the clean room by adhering to established protocols, including proper garbing and cleaning procedures.
  • Efficiently utilize cleaning techniques, solutions, equipment, and tools to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Perform decontamination cleaning and project assignments with a high level of consistency, accuracy, and reliability, adhering to cleanroom SOPs.
  • Document all activities and conduct frequent quality control testing to verify the effectiveness of work performed.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanroom garment and cleaning material stock levels.
  • Identify and manage contamination sources within the cleanroom environment, including materials and personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-2 years of housekeeping or cleaning service experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend Standard Operating Procedure Documents (SOPs).
Work Environment
  • Exposure to chemicals on a constant basis, requiring special clothing and/or safety equipment.
