Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation: Set up, operate, and break down intermediate audiovisual equipment in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Comply with all Company security and safety measures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure equipment is secure from theft and/or damage when in use.
Customer Service
  • Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers, exceeding their expectations and needs.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach other technicians on Encore's Delivering World Class Service philosophy.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication and regular check-ins.
Technical Ability
  • Understand the technical aspects of the job and demonstrate advanced operational ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve with equipment and software issues.
  • Anticipate equipment challenges and changes in a timely and professional manner.
Systems Knowledge
  • Understand company processes, follow procedures, and complete systems entry and paperwork accurately.
  • Use equipment sheets to determine scheduled equipment and complete strike procedures.
  • Interact with other staff and outside vendors for equipment and services.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required; Associate's Degree preferred.
  • 2-3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
  • 2-3+ years of audio-visual experience required.
  • Ability to lift 50 Lbs.
  • A valid driver's license is required for team members in positions that may operate Company vehicles.
Work Environment

Work is performed in a hotel/convention center environment with moderate exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand and/or dust. The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes. Team members will use high-end audio-visual equipment and electrical components and will be exposed to heights via lifts and ladders. Team members may be asked to work in multiple hotel locations. Working times will include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
