Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:
  • Must be board eligible or board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
  • Focus on inpatient care
  • Full-time role with responsibilities as Medical Director
  • Lead and guide the existing rehabilitation program
  • Oversee a 20-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation unit
  • Facility accredited by CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) and recognized for exceptional quality outcomes
  • Work alongside a dedicated team of skilled therapy and nursing professionals, including certified rehabilitation nurses
  • Manage a diverse range of acute rehabilitation patients, including those recovering from strokes, orthopedic issues, multiple traumas, amputations, neurological disorders, and general debility
  • Opportunity to conduct consultations in hospitals or nursing facilities, if desired
About the Facility:
The hospital has been a cornerstone of healthcare in the community for over 40 years, boasting a fully accredited 238-bed capacity. It is recognized for its Advanced Primary Stroke Care, Comprehensive Breast Care Center, and as the only Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation in the area. Additional services include orthopedic care, joint replacement, robotic surgery, and cardiac, vascular, and interventional services. The facility also features the only Pediatric ER and Level III NICU and Pediatric ICU in the region.
