We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Manager Cardiovascular Ultrasound to join our team. As a key member of our cardiovascular sonography department, you will be responsible for directing and delivering care to patients, overseeing clinical competence among sonographers, and providing daily supervisory oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and deliver care to patients, neonate to geriatric, as defined in unit-specific standards.
  • Oversee clinical competence among all cardiovascular sonographers throughout the system.
  • Provide daily supervisory oversight for cardiovascular sonographers within the UCH system.
  • Assume the leadership role in developing clinical protocols and educational forums for the cardiovascular sonographers.
  • Assist the Director of the Heart & Vascular Institute in maintaining adequate staffing patterns, budgetary compliance, and performance appraisals.
  • Provide direct patient care within the individual's scope of practice based upon patient census, acuity, and departmental staffing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • RVT/RDCS with extensive cardiac/vascular ultrasound experience required.
  • Certification in BCLS required; ACLS certification highly preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years of vascular sonography or cardiac sonography experience required in an acute care setting with increasing levels of responsibility documented or two (2) years of supervisory or management experience is required.
