About the Role:

The Lead Bartender will oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for our guests. This role will supervise staff during shifts, maintain the bar's appearance, and be responsible for restocking and cleaning the bar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all aspects of bar operations during shifts
  • Assist with hiring, training, and scheduling of bar team members
  • Oversee and maintain product pricing, POS systems, and online platforms
  • Implement effective cash management processes
  • Meet with vendors to recommend products and services
  • Communicate with sales representatives and suppliers
  • Assist in preparing the annual budget and setting sales goals
  • Generate and analyze daily and monthly financial and inventory reports
  • Prepare and serve beverages
  • Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks
  • Operate a POS station and manage shifts according to policy
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Ensure the bar and lounge areas are clean and well-presented

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate positively and friendly with patrons
  • Ability to work individually or with others in a fast-paced environment
  • One year of customer service experience with the general public preferred
  • Prior experience with bartending and food service preferred
  • Must be available on weekends and nights, as well as some weekdays
  • Must pass an alcohol serving course within 60 days after hire
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Facility has intermittent noise
