Job Overview:
Our client is in search of a proficient Compressed Air Systems Technician to become a vital part of their workforce. This position entails executing regular, preventative upkeep and repairs on both oil-injected and oil-free compressed air systems.

As a compressed air systems technician, you will be instrumental in guaranteeing that our clientele receives outstanding service and assistance, thereby helping to uphold the high standards associated with the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance and Repair Services:
Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on oil-injected and oil-free compressed air systems in line with manufacturer guidelines.


Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with malfunctioning systems, identify potential causes of failures, and perform necessary repairs based on assessments and diagnostics.

Evaluate and document the operational parameters of systems before and after maintenance and repairs.

Comply with all safety protocols and utilize personal protective equipment as necessary.

Engage in continuous training and professional growth, including variable speed drives, refrigeration, industrial networks, and remote monitoring.

Customer Engagement:
Act as a representative for the company, maintaining the organization’s high standards of service delivery.

Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries, resolving concerns, and managing issues effectively.


Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients through effective communication, interpersonal skills, and professionalism, ensuring customer satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.


Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent required; technical college degree preferred.

Relevant mechanical repair experience preferred.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficient in reading and writing in English.

Hold a valid driver's license and maintain an insurable driving record.

Provide all basic required tools.

Experience in an industrial facility environment.

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.

Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics/diagrams.

Familiarity with basic industrial electrical systems, including AC motors, motor controls, and machine control circuits.

Knowledge of AC Variable Frequency Drives.

Understanding of compressed air systems and process piping.

Knowledge of refrigeration systems.

Proficiency in Windows, MS Office (Word, Excel), and email communications.

Skilled in using electronic work orders, uploading/downloading controls software, and conducting website/portal research.

Ability to collaborate effectively with others both on-site and remotely.

Capable of working in various environments, including extreme temperatures.

Ability to perform physical tasks such as continuous walking, lifting, reaching, bending, and kneeling.

Comfortable working on ladders and/or scissor lifts.

Willingness to be clean-shaven if required for specific customer needs.

Ability to work independently with strong self-management and professionalism.

Competent in completing work within assigned deadlines.

Available for on-call work during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Able to work the service hours of operation, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm.

Willingness to travel out of the area and stay overnight for training.
