Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team at Performance Foodservice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced mechanic to work with a variety of heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks and trailers.

About the Role
As a Fleet Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of diesel trucks and equipment. This includes tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements. You will also diagnose and repair more complex issues, using your knowledge of vehicle systems and electrical diagnostics.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
- Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
- Use electrical diagnostic tools to identify problems and make repairs
- Train and mentor junior technicians in our shop

Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience working as a mechanic in a heavy-duty environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a forklift
