HRIS System Administrator

The Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources department at Govcon Technologies LLC. This position involves providing analytical and technical support to ensure the quality and consistency of HRIS database information. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in HR, IT or MIS field and minimum 5 years of experience in HRIS-related roles with expertise in Workday HCM.
The salary for this position is approximately $85,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HRIS professional to join our team as a Workday HRIS Analyst. As a key member of the Human Resources department, you will be responsible for maintaining quality and consistency of HRIS data, ensuring personnel actions are compliant with current Human Resources policies and guidelines, and providing technical support to Human Resources and other staff members.
Main Responsibilities
- Develops, designs, builds, tests, implements, maintains, and enhances Workday tables, codes, and security.
- Provides Workday technical support to various functional areas regarding HRIS administration and operations.
- Resolves complex technical problems and engages additional resources when necessary.
- Performs regular audits to validate the accuracy of data in Workday.
- Maintains quality and consistency of HRIS data by troubleshooting, analyzing, detecting, identifying, and correcting technical problems and deficiencies.
- Creates, runs, and schedules custom reports for supported functional areas.
- Identifies opportunities for improving Human Resources processes through information systems changes and assists in preparing proposals to develop new systems and/or operational changes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, IT or MIS field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HRIS-related roles with expertise in Workday HCM.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to work with large amounts of data.
- Excellent presentation, oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience in gathering business requirements and documenting.
- Advance Excel and math skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Knowledge of principles, practices, and standards of human resource administration.
