Atrium Health Navicent is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at our state-of-the-art medical facility in Macon, Georgia.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform a variety of tasks associated with acquiring, processing, and submitting images for interpretation. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will also have experience working with patients of all ages and backgrounds, and will be comfortable performing portable exams based on provider orders and patient conditions.

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan and health savings account.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform all duties associated with acquisition, processing, and submission of general and special ultrasound images.
  • Care for patients while in the ultrasound department.
  • Perform portable US exams based on provider order and/or patient condition.
Requirements:
  • High School or GED Diploma Graduate required.
  • Graduate of AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology, vascular or cardiovascular ultrasound program, or BS in Ultrasound.
  • Registered Sonographer or Registry Eligible through ARDMS or ARRT.
  • ARDMS or ARRT required in accordance with Work Instruction EMP 8.
