We are seeking a full-time field hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating and coordinating the hospice care plan, supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs), and providing skilled nursing hospice and palliative care services to patients in their place of residence. Key responsibilities include reviewing and updating the plan of care, performing prescribed medical treatments, conducting assessments and evaluations, and providing education and supportive care to patients and caregivers. The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution, a current California RN license, and a minimum of one year of experience as a professional nurse within the last three years. Certification in hospice and palliative nursing is desired but not required. Additionally, the candidate must be able to utilize computers and be comfortable with electronic medical records. Spanish speaking is a plus but not required. The salary for this position is competitive, with benefits including holiday pay, sick pay, and vacation pay, as well as health insurance, dental, and vision coverage.
