Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Assembler to join our team at Dover Corporation. As an Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical wiring and control equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair electrical wiring and control equipment
  • Measure, cut, bend, assemble, and install electrical conduit
  • Splice wires by stripping installation from terminal leads and soldering wire together
  • Connect wiring to panel boxes
  • Install switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels
  • Connect power cables to equipment and install grounding leads
  • Pull wiring through conduit
  • Perform wiring of standard, medium, and complex panels
  • Transformer wiring
  • Tie-in compressor panels
  • Wire defrost
  • Wire lights, receptacles, fire-stats, and T-state
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Three to six months related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
