About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Planner to join our team at AECOM. As a key member of our planning team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing transportation plans and projects that meet the needs of our clients and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of transportation plans and studies, including data collection and analysis, and report preparation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct public outreach and engagement activities, including preparing materials and presentations.
  • Analyze data and prepare detailed maps and reports for use in transportation planning projects.
  • Conduct concept-level evaluations of transportation improvement options and document findings.
  • Research current transportation-related topics at local, state, and federal levels.
  • Assist with other duties assigned by senior staff and/or project managers.
Requirements
  • Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a Master's degree in Urban Planning, Public Policy, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Sciences, Geography, Economics, or related fields.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with Geographic Information Systems, including ArcMap and ArcGIS Online.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, or SketchUp.
  • Basic knowledge of transportation planning topics.
