Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract, or district regulations.
  • Experience and Skills: Minimum of one year experience in a teaching environment, with a strong background in special education and a commitment to inclusive practices.
  • Professional Development: Participation in Amergis' Competency program and completion of new hire training as applicable to the job site.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively elicit and provide information to and from appropriate individuals.
