Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration and HVAC Service Technician to join our team at CoolSys. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration and HVAC systems for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems, including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical and mechanical control devices.
  • Provide preventative maintenance activities for customers by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies.
  • Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and/or mechanical skills.
  • Process job tickets and work orders to the necessary department promptly.
  • Perform work on minor construction and remodeling projects, including startups of new installations.
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Minimum 3+ years of commercial refrigeration experience required.
  • Experience working on refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with single systems and rack systems, along with previous work on display cases and walk-in boxes, is very helpful.
  • Emergency on-call availability is a basic requirement.
